
Software End of Service Process Description
Please see below for the EOS (End of Service) for software versions. Software licenses purchased under the Legacy Perpetual License model and have an active support and maintenance contract will receive critical patch and maintenance updates on 8.x releases after September 2019. After September 2019, new features and capabilities will be added to the 9.x major release version branch only, and not added to 8.x release builds. Customers who are on the subscription licensing plans have unlimited access to upgrades regardless of version. Customers who purchased perpetual 8.x licenses are encouraged to move to the flex subsription model for the advantages itemized below.
Legacy Perpetual Model (v8.x)

Hardware End Of Life Process Description
Forum Systems may find it necessary to discontinue hardware platforms for a number of reasons, including technology enhancements, upgrades and offering customers the same quality/higher performance products at the same or lower price or when key components are no longer available. When a hardware product reaches its end of life (EOL), Forum Systems is committed to communicating important milestones throughout the EOL period, including the initial EOL notification, End of Sale (EOS) for product, End of Support (EOST) milestone dates, as well as other key information pertaining to Forum Systems hardware products.
Forum Systems will provide the next generation hardware solution at least 2 years in advance of the EOS notification date for existing hardware. This ensures that we provide our customers with at least 2 years window for a legacy hardware migration plan before a hardware platform actually becomes EOL.
Any products being discontinued will be announced as End of Sale and identified as such on the price list for up to six calendar months prior to the discontinuation and end of sale date also known as the last order date. On the end of sale date, discontinued products are removed from the price list and are no longer available for purchase. Support for discontinued products will only be provided to customers who purchased a maintenance contract, or converted their new product warranty coverage to a maintenance contract prior to the expiration of the standard warranty. If the discontinued product is not available for replacement or repair during the final year of the EOST period, Forum Systems reserves the right to satisfy the support requirement by replacing the discontinued product with functionally equivalent hardware.
